The MeLE QuieterDL is a small computer that’s just a little larger than two big smartphone stacked atop one another. But it’s a full-fledged computer with an Intel N100 quad-core processor, Windows 11 Home pre-installed, and support for up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

It’s similar in a lot of ways to the MeLE Quieter4C that first hit the streets about a year ago, but the new QuieterDL stands out for two reasons. First, it’s a little larger. And second, it has a different set of ports that includes two 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports rather than a single Gigabit Ethernet port.

The MeLE QuieterDL is available from Amazon with prices starting at $220 for a model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There’s also a 16GB/512GB model for $250, and the product page shows a cheaper 4GB/128GB version that will sell for $160, but the entry-level configuration is not in stock yet.

When Ian reviewed the MeLE Quieter 4C earlier this year, he found it to be a versatile little computer that runs silently, although he noted that MeLE made some performance sacrifices to keep the computer running reliably without a fan for active cooling.

Perhaps the slightly larger body of the new model will help on that front, but it seems likely that the main draw for the QuieterDL are its dual 2.5 GbE LAN ports, which could make the computer a small, silent device for networking applications.
