The NexT-SBC is an upcoming mini PC motherboard set to go up for pre-order through an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign soon. Featuring an AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor with Radeon 780M integrated graphics, support for up to 32GB of onboard LPDDR5X-6400 memory, and three M.2 2280 slots for PCIe 4.0 storage, it’s a pretty versatile little system for those looking to build their own mini PC rather than buying one that comes fully assembled.

While the company behind the little computer hasn’t officially launched a crowdfunding campaign or website for the system yet, they sent a sample to YouTuber ETA Prime, who has shared an early look at the NexT-SBC.

According to ETA Prime, the NexT-SBC will sell for “up to $329” during crowdfunding, which is a competitive price for a board with a Ryzen 7 7840HS processor, up to 32GB of memory, support for up to three storage devices, and plenty of I/O capabilities including USB4, HDMI 2.1, and dual 2.5 Gb Ethernet ports.

Keep in mind that there’s no case, storage, or operating system included in that price. But, as Redditor Old_Crows_Associate points out, the NexT-SBC looks a lot like the motherboard from an AOOSTAR GEM10 mini PC, which currently sells for $459 and up at Amazon. So if you’re looking to bring your own case, storage, and OS, you could theoretically save some money by purchasing just the board.
