The GMK EVO-X1 HX370 is a mini PC that’s set to become one of the first small desktops to ship with an AMD Strix Point processor, which should deliver a big boost in CPU, graphics, and AI performance over the company’s previous-gen mobile chips.
GMK has been talking about the EVO-X1 for about a month, but the company has been slow to release a full spec sheet. Thanks to a series of recent posts on Chinese social media site Weibo, we now have a better idea of what to expect from the upcoming mini PC… although there’s still no word on how much it will cost or when it will be available.
GMK EVO-X1 specs | |

GMK says the USB4 port is a “full feature” port that can be used for video and data, which means that the EVO-X1 HX370 should be able to support up to three displays if you use the HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB4 ports simultaneously.
While AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor has an official TDP rating of 15 to 54 watts, GMK says that it’s been tweaked to run at up to 70 watts for better sustained performance in this little computer, suggesting that the company is confident that the mini PC has sufficient cooling performance to dissipate the extra heat generated by the processor. But aside from the fact that the system has an aluminum alloy body with vents on the sides, it’s unclear what kind of cooling hardware the computer has.
The case also appears to have a light that illuminates the space between the lid of the computer and the top of the front panel.
More details should be revealed closer to launch.
