The MOREFINE M11 is a small desktop computer that you can also use as a Windows tablet thanks to a built-in 7 inch HD touchscreen display and 25.8 Wh battery. But it’s a bit on the thick side for a tablet, and has a nice set of full-sized ports, which is why it’s probably best to think of it as a mini PC that you can use on the go rather than a tablet that you can use as a desktop.
It also has a familiar design: the MOREFINE M11 looks nearly identical to the SZBOX S7 that I wrote about earlier this summer. But there are at least three significant differences: the MOREFINE M11 has a higher starting price and a smaller battery. But it’s also available with a (slightly) more powerful processor.
While the SZBOX model comes with an Intel N100 processor, the MOREFINE version can be purchased with either an N100 or N200 chip. These are both low-power processors based on Intel’s Alder Lake-N architecture, but the N200 supports higher CPU frequencies and about 33% more GPU execution units which should lead to better graphics performance.
The MOEREFINE M11 measures 173.8 x 116 x 22mm (6.84″ x 4.57″ x 0.86″) and weighs 530 grams (1.17 pounds). It has a fan and heat sink inside the case for cooling, a built-in mic and speaker for audio, and an integrated kickstand that lets you prop up the computer so that the screen is visible.
This could theoretically let you use the computer like a little laptop if you add a wired or wireless keyboard. But I suspect that given the system’s physical design and limited processing power, the kickstand and display would be better suited for use as a smart display or kiosk, smart home interface, or other sort of touchscreen controller.
MOREFINE ships all models of the little computer with 16GB of LPDDR5 onboard memory, but the system features an M.2 2242 slot for user-replaceable SATA or PCIe NVMe storage. There’s also an Intel AX201 wireless card with support for WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
Ports include:
- 1 x HDMI 2.1
- 1 x USB 3.0 Type-C (for power, data, and video)
- 1 x USB Type-C (unspecified)
- 3 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
- 1 x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 1 x Gigabit Ethernet
- 1 x 3.5mm audio
The MOREFINE M11 is available for purchase from MOREFINE.com with prices starting at $348 for a model with an Intel N100 processor or $395 for an N200 version of the mini PC. It’s also available from AliExpress with a few different pricing/configuration options:
