The MSI MS-C918S is a small small desktop computer with a 6-watt Intel N100 quad-core processor based on Alder Lake-N architecture, support for up to two displays, Gigabit Ethernet, and optional support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2
In other words, it’s a lot like the MSI MS-C918 we wrote about earlier this summer. But there’s on significant difference: the new C918S model has a large heat sink on top of the case for passive cooling.
The little computers are both products from MSI’s IPC division, which offers products for industrial applications. But these are basically small, low-power, general-purpose computers that could be used in a wide range of situations.
Even with the tall heat sink on top of the case, the new MS-C918S measures just 80 x 80 x 48mm (3.15″ x 3.15″ x 1.9″), which could make it a compact, quiet solution for use in digital signage, point-of-sales, home media, or other applications.
