The E10 ETBox is a compact desktop computer with a 45-watt Intel Core i5-12450H 8-core, 12-thread processor, support for up to three 4K displays, and a body that measures just 178 x 188 x 62mm (7″ x 7.4″ x 2.4″) and has an volume of 2 liters.
But honestly the most surprising thing about this little computer is that it comes from a partnership between Taiwanese PC maker Acer and Chuwi, a Chinese company that’s best known for making low-cost mini PCs, laptops, and tablets.
While the E10 ETBox mini PC doesn’t appear to be available for purchase yet, you can find details for the upcoming system at both the Chuwi and Acer Gadget websites.
The computer has two SODIMM slots with support for up to 64GB of total DDR5-4800 memory, two M.2 2280 slots for storage (one is a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot while the other supports PCIe 3.0 x2), and a wireless card with support for WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
Ports include:
- 1 x Thunderbolt 4 (USB Type-C)
- 4 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
- 1 x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 2 x HDMI 1.4
- 1 x DisplayPort 1.2
- 1 x 2.5 GbE Ethernet
- 1 x Gigabit Ethernet
- 1 x 3.5mm headphone/speaker
- 1 x 3.5mm microphone
- 1 x DC power input
The computer has an aluminum alloy body with fins that should provide a bit of passive heat dissipation, but there’s also a fan inside the case for active cooling.
